AI Wags the Dog

Paradigm Shift Poised

It is possible to disperse equitably across an entire organization (and economy) in ways it could not have possibly been in the past because of AI. What would have taken a slew of accountants five years ago can now be accomplished with a simple prompt or question poised to internal AI. When agentic GenAI takes shape, this process will be even more efficient and accessible. The company that disperses the gains from greater efficiency due to greater productivity from augmented intelligence to its lowest level workers will be the champion company of our time.  

Organizational Scratch

Entirely new organization systems will be built on the new AI capability that was never before in human history financially viable. There is currently no excuse why a CEO would not be paying out a much higher percentage of profits to some workers because now, finally, CEOs can drill down into precise productivity metrics that tell the story of how profits were generated and by whom. I envision that internally integrated software solutions can be designed with AI to empower an organization to be built from scratch with financial equity.

Break the Wealth Gap

The wealth-gap paradigm buster happens when the system of fair financial equity is drilled down to the base level of an organization such as the people who clean bathrooms. Even janitors should earn equity from the profits of the organization.

Agentic Equity?

Financial equity is the goal and has always been and will always be the goal of fairness. Other forms of equity are subservient to the need of a person to pay their bills and put their money to work. Non-equity earning salaries and base wages are definitionally forms of economic slavery. Perhaps in the past this inefficient form of economic slavery was necessary due to expensive accounting costs needed to break up individual participation into micro-equity shares; no longer is that the case today with the power of AI to farm data and make micro deposits to shareholders with transformational speed across an entire organization. Let’s magnify this statement again: MAKE MICRO DEPOSITS TO SHARE HOLDERS. The previously limited state of internal accounting is about to be ruptured wide open. This moonshot enterprise solution is one of the designs that I plan to build at the d.School with my cohort.

Design the Solution

Rather than focus on bandaid solutions to permanently broken and out-of-date systems, let us envision an entirely new organizational structure founded on the principles of THE FAIRNESS ALGORITHM and MICRO EQUITY. Just like Hollywood sends out twelve-cent checks for those who played a minor role in a successful series, a janitor should be getting an equity check that provides them an option to become a shareholder or cash out for immediate needs. Once we bring American capitalism systems down to the ground level to benefit all workers, not just salaried executives, we will begin to see the fruition that has been stifled by greedy money masters. Blockchain tech and decentralized ledgers are key in the process because they empower organizations to machine their business and deeply learn with internal AI systems to efficiently orchestrate equity-payout systems down to minutia and disperse profits with immediacy that was previously unimaginable due to onerous accounting costs.

 

AI is an equity machine. 

Optimal Diplomacy

Profound impact will derive from financial equity when it is part and parcel of American capitalism when it is exported and mandated by policy. International workers in American companies abroad will be all the more loyal to America because they will own equity in their American company. Where today America exploits their international workers often outside scrutiny, a newly mandatory equity disbursement from American companies to their foreign workers is a diplomatic game changer that would blossom extensive loyalty to America.

d.Destiny 2028

The d.School class of 2028 stands on the precipice of the greatest productivity transformation in modern history and it will be our cohort that might take the time to design better ways of working from scratch that focus on ubiquitous equity, financial fairness, micro shares, and funds fluidity that was previously inconceivable. Why? Because workers are there for the money and people who are transparently and fairly compensated will surely provide greater per-person output when compared with those who work under mundane and inequitable business models that were forged with opaque slowness of antiquated central ledgers. 
 

A New Stock Market        

The concept of ubiquitous micro shares for all workers through an organization when applied to physical products in a novel way, there stands the chance to rupture global stock markets. Why should we centralize control around the nexus of a whole company when we have enough data that tells us exactly which products are selling best, down to a specific location and time, and can be combinatorially evaluated with other factors like production sources, color, and size. Why would an astute investor ever buy a whole company stock again? 

 

Why not invest into a specific product in a precise circumstance that is dynamically monitored, evaluated, and synced with a predictive marketplace such that one places money on an exact pair of jeans in a specific store during a limited period of time in a certain sizes and colors? 

 

Imagine the ability to buy a specific shirt made in a specific factory in a color and time frame in a specific location like a red dress in size small for three weeks before elections in Russia. Why would an investor want to put funds down on an entire megolith clothing company when they could use AI as access to info that empowers them to place more precise predictions?

 

What would happen to my ROI if I was able to farm forecasted data and sell it as micro-shares of a company such that investors effectively forecast what they think will do best, ahead of time: a PREDICTIVE STOCK MARKET – much more powerful for an astute CEO than is traditional post-profit-paradigm payout scenarios because it is better than free information; investors put money down to back their opinions and collectively wag the production dog. 

 

The MARS-SHOT brilliance of a dynamic and open stock market is that each individual investor will do a unique form of work to identify winning opportunities as early in the product lifespan as possible. When those predictions are combined with a robust library of other dynamic forecasts and predictors, while stochastically balanced by blockchain,.. the sky is the limit.

 

Once companies begin to OPEN THEIR LEDGERS to outside investors they will create internal AI-driven stock markets that are informed by the collective mind of their investors. That will lead to efficiencies and profit margins that are through the roof compared to current dart-throwing methods of forecasting which designs should be produced and when. 

Dynamic Valuation

What has been missing in our traditional stock market is akin to what has been missing in the internet prior to AI. The company with a smart internal AI system will be able to farm minutia of data, evaluated using vision recognition, deep learning, and neural networks, that previously would have been economically impossible. Supply chains are anew!

 

Therefore, the valuation of ideas, the lifeblood of any and all organizations, will take on a whole new dimension with AI. Internal idea evaluation systems are about to TRANSMUTATE into unimaginable machines – businesses and their CEOs will progressively become machines; ironically, this makes the best humans more valuable than ever because they will be value-adding to the system with IDEAS

 

The IDEA GENERATION is upon us. 

Transparent Action

What an organization does with this newfound knowledge built on agentic GenAI is up to them and it will only be utilized as much as the organization is transparent enough with it to inspire innovation. However, most organizations are being built on archaic forms of business plans. Therefore, the scale of success they will have with internal AI systems will be limited. It is essential that organizations be DESIGNED from scratch to be AI-native netizens

 

Businesses of tomorrow will be DESIGNED at a continual basis from the minds of the most creative executives and an enormous portion of productivity will be done by very few. Collectively for humanity this means that SHARED PROSPERITY becomes par.
