It's a Policy Paradigm
Dynamic Peacemaker
I pursue an MS Design degree at the Stanford University Hasso Plattner Institute of Design to collaborate with new mentors, forge a global community, garner meaningful insights, and attain interdisciplinary methodologies in order to become an impactful global designer. I envision Stanford as my new foundation from which I will leverage my diverse experiences as an emerging technology investment banker, U.S. Embassy intern, international startup founder, aerospace researcher, and AI academic in order to pivot towards a career in directing artificial intelligence initiatives for humanity.
Intrepid Entrepreneur
Designs scale well when policy is considered ahead of hangups; with this in mind through my design process, I will emblazon the Hoover Institute, Freeman Spogli Institute, and Cyber Policy Center. where I aim to explore the frontier of geopolitical interconnectedness while I develop effective diplomacy protocols known as Assertive Transparency, forwarded by Ray Powell, with his SeaLight project at the Gordian Knot Center for National Security Innovation, to design a sustainable Pacific Trade Triangle that peacefully integrates economies and cultures through adept leadership, generative AI, and innovation transfer. The key is to diversify around the globe for local vibrancy.
Curious Collaborator
At Stanford, I aspire to endear key Freeman Spogli and Hoover Institution faculty members to my purpose of peacebuilding a Pacific Trade Triangle among North America, South America and Asia, including Michael D. Bordo, John Taylor, and John H. Cochrane, for geostrategic monetary policy, Condoleezza Rice, for global diplomacy, Peter Blair Henry, for economic liberalization in international finance, Valerie Ramey, for international labor markets, Laura Taylor-Kale (MS&E PhD), for industrial policy and geoeconomic policy design and foreign service advisory, Florence G'sell, for work on GenAI governance, Robert Sapolsky, for sources of altruism and evolution of human behavior, and Carissa Carter (d.School Academic Director), for Assembling the Future, Designing with Data, the future of higher education (Project 2025), Navigating Ambiguity, and ongoing conversations on data visualization, emerging tech, and effectively designing with blockchain and machine learning, as well as Gordon Wetzstein, for Future of Computational Imaging and visual data dissonance.
Foresightful Fiduciary
Likewise, I will link my Stanford projects with my academic peers at the George Washington Elliott School of International Affairs, including Dr. Matthew Levinger, for AI enabled diplomatic dialogues and assertive transparency, scholars at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET) at Georgetown, where I have attended many seminars on the topic of monetary policy, artificial intelligence and geostrategy, as well as with Berkeley energy professor, Dan Kammen, for intersection of engineering and policy to promote financial equity, Dr. Karl van Bibber, for evolution of microgenerators and sustainable fusion ignition, and Brian Spears, Director of the Lawrence Livermore Labs, AI Innovation Incubator (AI3), for cognitive simulation and predictive flows.
Insightful Innovator
Or, perhaps the d.School will propel my career beyond par and into a directorial role; e.g., to pilot a geostrategic hedge fund for an emerging markets investment bank or develop policies, protocols, and practices for AI scaling at a company such as Anthropic. I am certain that the Stanford MS Design degree will enlighten pathways I cannot anticipate. The caliber of d.School faculty and Design students plus breadth of interdisciplinary alumni might generate a C-suite career.
Sandbox Strategist
Altogether, I offer a rarely harmonized attitude of both profound patriotism and proficient globalism. My overarching mission is to wield emergent technology and transfer innovation from the academic sector into private enterprise and public service to solve intractable peacebuilding problems, via rapid deep learning and GenAI, with sights on the dawn of the 22nd Century.
